Neighbor-4-Neighbor (N4N)
N4N: A free, short-term emergency support solution . . .
because sometimes we all need just a little help.
Life's little emergencies sometimes leave us temporarily needing a little help with some of the tasks we normally handle ourselves. For example, while you're recuperating from an operation or an accident, you might need a dog walker, or a few meals, or some home maintenance help. Or perhaps you'd be comforted to have someone check in with you for a few days while you're convalescing. This is where Neighbor-4-Neighbor shines!
In addition to lending a helping hand to neighbors-in-need, N4N's card committee also makes it a point to welcome our new neighbors, as well as to extend our sympathies to others during difficult times. In short, N4N is here to help show our Mirehaven neighbors we care--with our hands and with our hearts.
You'll get by with a little help from your friends!

Are You New to Mirehaven—or Know Someone Who Is?
N4N's WELCOME TEAM
Moving into a new community can feel exciting, overwhelming, and sometimes even a little lonely as you settle into a new home. The Neighbor 4 Neighbor (N4N) Welcome Team is here to make that transition easier with a friendly face and helpful information about life in Mirehaven.
When the Welcome Team receives information about new residents, a volunteer reaches out to arrange a brief, face-to-face greeting at a mutually convenient time and place. The visit is simple and warm, just a friendly hello, answers to any questions, and an opportunity to begin building new connections.
The Welcome Team is made up of volunteers who genuinely enjoy meeting people. They know the ins and outs of Mirehaven and are eager to share what makes this community special. If you know of a new neighbor, please let N4N know so we can ensure they receive a true Mirehaven welcome.
For more information about Neighbor 4 Neighbor, or to join any N4N Service Team, including Welcome, please visit the Neighbor 4 Neighbor Interest Group Page or email mirehavenn4n@gmail.com. And whenever you or a neighbor needs support, email your request to the same address and a N4N volunteer will respond promptly.

N4N Pet Care Team
By Bev Putnam
The Pet Care Team is one of the many Neighbor 4 Neighbor (N4N) Teams dedicated to supporting residents in Mirehaven. N4N’s caring volunteers are happy to step in, offering short‑term, emergency pet care for anyone experiencing a crisis that prevents them from caring for their pet.
Emergencies can take many forms—an unexpected trip out of town, a sudden illness, or any situation where you’re temporarily unable to feed, walk, or stay with your pet. Our volunteers are ready to help with:
• Feeding • Walking • Staying with the pet in your home • Administering medications (as directed by the owner.)

Donating Pet Items
If your pet passes away, N4N can help ensure their belongings continue to bring comfort to other animals. We accept food, toys, beds, leashes, and other supplies and deliver them to local shelters. (Please note we cannot accept medications.)
Items may be dropped off with: Bev Putnam | 9235 Del Webb Lane | 720‑201‑1490
You may also call Bev if you prefer to have items picked up.
Planning Ahead for Your Pet
One of the best ways to prepare for an emergency is to make sure a trusted neighbor has access to your home—whether that’s a key, garage code, or door code. This allows them to reach food, favorite toys, leashes, and anything else your pet may need if you’re unexpectedly away.
