NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAM

Doing our part to keep Mirehaven a safe neighborhood!

Some studies suggest that gated communities are 33% less likely to be burglarized than non-gated areas, but they are not foolproof.  For that reason, our Neighborhood Watch program, created with the active participation of local law enforcement, increases the safety of Mirehaven while fostering closer bonds of friendship with neighbors.

Our community outreach programs help residents discover:

• How to keep an eye out for suspicious activity

• How best to react when you see something that doesn’t seem right

• How to easily increase the physical safety of your home

• Home and neighborhood safety resources

A Great Neighborhood is a Safe Neighborhood!

Under the leadership of John Newell, our Mirehaven Watch Coordinator, the majority of streets in our community have Block Captains and active groups. Contact John to discover:

      1) If your street is actively involved with a Block Captain

      2) If you’d care to be added to the distribution list for monthly email updates

      3) If you’d like to obtain more information on Mirehaven's Neighborhood Watch Program
